Maureen Huntley, Holistic Health Counselor

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION and ASSOCIATIONS
Maureen Huntley is a Certified Holistic Health Counselor and a member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. She received her BFA from the Goodman School of Drama at DePaul University, Chicago, and is a graduate of Columbia University's Institute of Integrated Nutrition. She is certified in EFT, Reflexology and is a Reiki Master Practitioner. Maureen has extensive knowledge in Essential Oils and Herbs.

PERSONAL
As a wife to Paul and mother of four (plus a golden retriever named Molly), the health of Maureen’s family is a top priority. "It’s not always easy, but it’s the most rewarding experience of my life. Being a mom and life partner is most certainly a balancing act. It’s a life long process with attention to the journey that makes it work." she says.

WORKING WITH YOU
As a Integrated Health Counselor, Maureen works with clients to detoxify their homes, clean out their kitchen cabinets and improve the well-being of the whole family. Through her highly energetic and motivational style, she supports clients and their families on their journey to health, confidence and happiness. She teaches clients how to read nutrition labels and cook simple, healthy meals. Maureen specializes in helping people to reduce sugar cravings and discover healthy alternatives to sweets and processed food. Maureen loves talking about greens and grains! Her work is based on the belief that each person has to find their own path to wellness with the support and love of the whole family.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN
Having enjoyed a lifelong passion for the theater, she is member of the Screen Actors Guild and Actors Equity Association, has appeared in numerous commercials and theater productions, and created the children’s theatre company Kreative Kidz, LLC, with a fellow theatre director - and helped successfully run the company for 5 years. As the theater department Chairperson of Barnstable Academy for 14 years, she has worked with many teenagers in search of balance in their lives. As a theatre director in her community, she has directed and produced many shows with thousands of children, and sees firsthand the tremendous need to help children make healthy choices. Maureen feels passionate about changing the way children treat themselves by creating awareness with what is ingested - food and knowledge.

Maureen created Vital Health for Life, LLC, to bring Integrated Holistic Health to the Whole Family.
